RE: Appointment of Sector Leader
Greetings of Peace!
With the appointment of Br. Ricardo Laguda FSC as President of De La Salle University and following a consultation process, I wish to announce the appointment of Br. Jose Mari Jimenez FSC as Sector Leader of the Philippines effective 17 June 2012 and ending on 14 May 2015.
Br. JJ brings with him into the office of Sector Leader his many gifts as a young and dynamic Brother. His many years as formator will help him in accompanying the Brothers and Lasallian Family members. The creativity, which he brings into his every assignment, will surely help him as he assumes his role as leader of this lively and energetic sector in LEAD.
Allow me to express my deep gratitude to Br. Ricardo Laguda FSC for the work he has done the past year. Despite the short time, he has been able to move forward critical areas in De La Salle Philippines that needed to be developed and strengthened. The sector of the Philippines, under his leadership, has been fully supportive, in ways big and small, of the development of our new District.
I hold both of them in profound esteem and know that, with the support of the entire Lasallian Family, they will do well in their respective ministries. Join me in prayer in thanking God for their generosity.
May the Risen Christ, who renews all things, be with all of you throughout the year!
